About the projectEnglish is learned by using and creating new things. The most permanent knowledge is the one which is learnt through experience. With this idea, this project helped students to learn English via their own materials in four basic skills. For each skill, students used different collaborative and creative web 2.0 tools. Thus, they both learned and practiced English with the help of the technology. So they got digital skills. With the students from different schools, mixed working groups were created in the four skills activities. By collaborating with the students from different schools, students were more social. They were in communication with the other students in the project, so students made progress in social skills and learned the concepts like division of labor, collaboration and sharing through experience. Their foreign language skills improved. We focused on one skill per month. |
